She make me happy ... all the time

My little girl is growing up so fast. I try to capture our moments together as much as possible.
She is up and running all the time so now a days it is very difficult to catch her in the frame :)

Spring walk with Sanvi

After many many years of continuous education and work (without any breaks), I have got a few weeks to spend exclusively with Sanvi and with myself. These buffers between jobs are blessings. I planned several things. Along with spending the maximum possible time with Sanvi, I am looking forward to visit art galleries and art schools, stitching little things to practice,to do yoga, to sketch more, to read even more, to try out recipes and what not.
The longer the list gets, the more tensed I got, because I can see time is just flying, And I am able to cross out very few things in my list. Then I sit back and realise its time to prioritize and accept the fact that there are only 24 hours in a day and I am only human. And then I tried making a ritual to go on a spring walk with Sanvi :) and we had so much fun. Its not happening everyday ... but I am trying.

In the SNUGGLY mood with Sanvi

Who doesn't love to just keep snuggling with their cute ones all the time. And what if you win prizes for just clicking snuggly selfies ?? I am so happy I came across this awesome contest from babyoye.com called "Snuggly Selfie Contest".

Well, I am also participating in it. They will be announcing 3 #Snuddlyselfie winners everyday and you can win prizes :) How cool is that???? So I am all set for it. Not that I am hoping to win, but the Snuggly selfie time is just too hard to resist.
These are some explorations. Do like us there ;)

I have noticed that she enjoys getting her pictures clicked now a days. Specially when me or her daddy is there with her in the frame. She recognizes herself and says "Naammiii" which means Sanvi and she recognises us too .. I know it when she points her cute lil finger and says "Mummaaa" and Dettaaa". I am sooo loving it.

Kids in this age are very active and keep running around all the time. To capture their activities, our phones come super handy. I am learning to grab some quick and easy ways to do so.

1. Best tip would be to make use of the sun and daylight. The camera works fast capturing the giggles and jumps and cries, and you cant beat the clarity and bright colors.
2. Thoughtfully deciding the clothes considering the surroundings also adds drama to the pictures and for that extra drama, don't you think our kids are enough? I pick my stuff very carefully and babyoye.com 's products are just awesome.

These are the very special moments of childhood which every parent must treasure.
These are the moments we will cherish forever and she will grow to cherish. She will learn to appreciate and value memories.

Paint fun with Sanvi

I am trying to keep Sanvi surrounded by colours, paints, colour pencils, papers so that she grows in a creative environment. I will not say I am very successful yet .. because she tries to eat the colours :P Well may be she is too young for that now, but there is nothing bad in an early start.
These are some old pics I am sharing.

Mother Daughter Hair stories

I have inherited dry and curly hair from my parents . I do not know from my father or my mother, as both the sides share the same hair stories. And I have seen my mother go through a lot of trouble taking care of my hair in every way that was possible for her.

So before my baby was born I was a little anxious about that. I secretly wanted her to have my curly hair as nothing beats the uniqueness and beauty of it (and it looks so cute on babies), but I was also worried about the high maintenance aspect of it.

Well my baby managed to inherit the beautiful silky hair texture of her father's side... and guess what? I sighed with relief :P

Yesss!!! what you see below is my hair and its natural.

Now being a working woman and a busy mother of a really active toddler I don't really get time to "Recharge my hair". I just try to oil regularly and follow some tips that sunsilk has in the gorgeous website. Recharging  my hair keeps my worries away and i can play with my toddler nonstop all day long, be it in the park, the beach, building sand castles or while enjoying the sunroof with her during a drive without worrying about the mess. Trust me .. when curly hair dries naturally it looks awesome.

A ve
ry close to heart "mother - daughter" experience I would like to share here:
My mother was a dedicated pink Sunsilk user throughout her life .. I think ever since it was available in India. Like right from her college days till today. Never seen such brand loyalty ever. I believe every mother's scent of her hair stays in the children's memories and they always remember it. For me it is the old pink sunsilk.
